Start Again

Release the old,
release the pain,

release the hurts
of yesterday.

Keep the peace
and lessons learned,

the joy that springs
when hope returns.

Rest old heartaches
in Him to find

He makes all things
beautiful in His time.

His heart has this plan
for the heart of you:

make peace with the old;
take hope in the new.

A new day is born
as another day ends;
creation is coaxing,
“Now start again.”

Accept this gift
